What is Internet of Things
A “thing”, in the internet of things is actually an object (natural or man-made), which can be assigned with an IP address, also giving the ability to transfer any kind of data over a given network. For example – Built-in sensors in an automobile to give alerts, a biochip transponder on farm animals, a heart monitor implant in a person etc.
Nowadays it is increasing and you can find it to be the cornerstone of every discussion, both inside and the outside of your workplace. So, let us see how it can impact your daily life routines.
How can it effect you?
Nowadays almost every device comes with an inbuilt sensor and WIFI expertise as there is an increase in the availability of broadband internet. The cost of technology is decreasing and the make of smart phones increasing! All of these, seems perfect for the IoT. Very soon, in near future, there will be a rule tossed which will be, ‘Everything that is connectible should be connected’. But the question is why would we need all of these just to stay in touch with each other. The answer is very simple – “to make life well arranged”. Just for an example – If you have an important business meeting, and you get stuck in a traffic and won’t be able to reach the place in time, here your car have an access to the map and help you take a different route, meanwhile also sending a message, notifying the respective personal that you will be late for the meeting.
The concept of Internet of things is so influential as it has a potential to make life easier and help us to live an efficient life (as it can be used in any carriage network).
